Carefully planned aerial imagery can be processed into a 3D point cloud, model or orthomosaic. Depending on the agreed specification, this can support roof areas, lengths, elevations, geometry and review of difficult-to-access structures away from the property.
Accuracy depends on capture conditions, survey controls, processing and intended use. Under suitable conditions it can reach up to 99.9%, but the required tolerance and validation method must be agreed before capture rather than assumed afterwards.
